Update: Fuzz Creatures

Thanks to a former colleague of mine who emailed a bug expert at Royal Alberta Museum, we have discovered what the Fuzz Creatures are.

BAGWORMS

So now, I am learning all about bagworms.  I guess the reason they look like Fuzz is because they create their case out of materials found around them.  In our case, it is the dust, fuzz, lint and dirt that accumulates around the house thus why they just look like another piece of dirt/dust/fuzz.

Cool and creepy, all at the same time. 

As a side note, I submitted a question to an ask a biologist site, so I'm interested to see if they give the same response!
